Overall:
Instantly I’m drawn to the Prohibition era art on the package, but my experience with Lucky doesn’t start there. My curiosity was piqued from the multiple recommendations in my DM’s that “Lucky is GAS ā½”. Thank you for that. š Ā Unfortunately, it seemed to have been off the market for quite some time. So when the opportunity to sample a fresh batch came about, I was eager to dive in.
The nose is like a Studebaker filled to the brim with Pine Kush, sputtering hot oil down the dusty highway. Feds can’t keep up with this Roadster as it tears past a citrus field, and hangs a left at the mint patch. The car burns a little rubber as it screeches to a halt in a nearby hideout – a local barn filled with livestock. It’s stinky. In the best way possible.

This single, large nug I received is basically perfect. It’s sticky, but not wet. Pulls apart like cotton, and leaves a fair amount of forest-like notes behind on my fingers. The grind exposes a little more of the savory, pepper core – a little meaty.
My batch is a flavor bomb, and is loud straight from the inhale. The smoke is delicately smooth, and start to form a classic OG profile. The exhale delivers a sensitive balance of astringent vanilla lemon pledge, and lingering mashed mixed nuts diesel with a spot of bad breath dough
For me, Lucky is a strong cultivar. Not only in potency, but aroma, flavor, and overall experience. I’d definitely buy this one again.
